Her name is "Pro Nobis", translated from Latin means "For Us". When they bought Pro Nobis, she only had 35 hours on her engine. BOAT HISTORY:The previous owners had her on Raystown Lake in Central PA. We bought her in the spring of 2013 and moved her to the Delaware River. Even though she is quite capable as a 25' boat, with a length overall (w/swim platform) of 28', she has never been in the ocean. The farthest she has gone is down the Delaware River through the C&D Canal and to Chesapeake City, MD for long weekends. WHY SELLING?These long weekends gave them the bug to want to take even longer trips, even farther away. So with a heavy heart, they decided to sell Pro Nobis to save money to go bigger. Besides providing better access, the big entry helps stave off the feeling of sleeping in a cave. A complete galley with a Corian counter, a pristinely clean standup head, and a standard pump-out com-mode all further substantiate Regal's cruisabilty claim. Fold the aft bench to open up more cockpit space or access the roomy engine compartment. Note the hatch, which opens to the side so you can access the compartment from inside the cockpit or the swim platform. Regal's OceanTrac hull has an 18-degree deadrise, which provides a nimble feel on the water. Outfitted with a 280-hp Volvo Penta 5.7L Gi DuoProp stern drive, the 2565 Window Express can get onto plane in under six seconds and has a top speed of 48 mph per the GPS according to the owner.Our Regal 27 1/2 foot mid cabin cruiser is called the 2565 Window Express and features huge forward and side windows for panoramic cabin views. You could call her a portable palace. For a trailerable cruiser, there's an impressive amount of interior room inside her overall length of 27 feet, 6 inches and her 8-foot, 6-inch beam. The feeling of space is made even more impressive by the amount of light the windows let in -- a feature you won't find in any comparable express cruiser. A large window panel comes up from the foredeck and stretches nearly full beam to flood the salon with light. It's similar to a windshield you'd find on a larger cabin cruiser. Light comes in through elongated oval side windows, as well as the overhead hatch forward. Dark spaces in small boats are now a thing of the past.
